Andrew
Park
is a company & commercial solicitor with over thirty years' experience in legal practice. He specialises in UK wine agency, distribution, brand development and joint venture matters. His experience and expertise in this field mean that he is particularly well-placed to advise in relation to:
- planning and handling all aspects of the termination of wine agency, distribution, brand development and joint venture contracts;
- handling claims for damages and/or compensation on termination of agency, distribution or joint venture relationships; and
- helping wine producers set up new or alternative distribution arrangements for the UK.
In 2007 Andrew represented the Winemakers' Federation of Australia in its successful intervention in the landmark House of Lords case Lonsdale v Howard & Hallam Limited, which at last clarified the vexed question of how compensation for commercial agents should be assessed.
Andrew has written on international agency and distribution law issues for numerous legal journals, for Harpers Wine & Spirits Weekly, and other wine trade publications. He is a member of the International Wine Lawyers Association and the International Bar Association.
